About GMC
The Goulbourn Male Chorus is a community-based chorus made up of men from the township of Goulbourn and surrounding Ottawa communities.
The Chorus is accompanied by pianist Bonnie MacDiarmid.
The Chorus had its first rehearsal on September 20th, 2010 with 12 men, and has since grown over the years. Since its inception the Chorus has taken part in a range of community events, including: Remembrance Day Services, community fundraising concerts, and performances of Christmas music at local seniors' residences. In addition to its performances in community events, the chorus stages public Christmas and spring concerts. For more details, see our Performances.
The Chorus repertoire consists of traditional male chorus selections, both secular and sacred, spirituals, folk songs, ballads, and some lighter selections. During the festive season, it includes both traditional and modern arrangements of Christmas favourites.

Management Team
Scott Auchinleck: Music Director
The GMC continues with its latest season under the leadership of its music director, Scott Auchinleck.
As well as directing the Goulbourn Male Chorus and the Kanata Choral Society, Scott is currently Director of Music at Glen Cairn United Church. Scott hails from Montreal and holds a Master's degree in Choral Music from the University of Ottawa as well as degrees in Music and Education from Bishop's University in Lennoxville, Quebec. He has worked with choirs and churches in the Montreal and Ottawa regions as well as the Eastern Township and Montérégie regions of Quebec.
Bonnie MacDiarmid: Accompanist
Bonnie is returning to GMC this season with great anticipation for a wonderful season. Bonnie hails from Haileybury, Ontario, arriving in Stittsville in 2008. She is presently a private piano, guitar & ukelele teacher, an accompanist for other choirs in the area, works in three Retirement Homes and supplies on the organ/piano at various churches. Thank you so much for inviting me back to GMC. Let All Men Sing!!
